ROLE:
- Producing and manufacturing silver and semi-precious metal pieces using skilled production/silversmith methods.
- Using silver, precious metals using labour-intensive manufacturing and craftsmanship.
- The main purpose of this role is to maintain high standards of production and crafting working in a team of production staff in a successful tooling/instruments environment.
- The team are easy to get along with, motivated and ensure production targets are met, high standards are achieved, and any improvements are introduced.
- Ensuring health and safety as well as maintaining stock levels.
Requirements:
- Must have training or education or experience of silver, gold, metal production/manufacturing.
- Enthusiastic and positive team player.
- Happy to do a labour-intensive manufacturing role.
- Happy with a very precise role making small articles by hand with multiple small parts, can be fiddly but rewarding work!
- Be able to coordinate various parts of a manufacturing process.
The role is accessible by train or bus and based in central Birmingham. This may suit someone who has a background or studied in manufacturing production or metal work or as a silver smith, silver worker, gold smith or other metals.
