Are you passionate about data and supplier risk? We’re looking for a data-led and proactive Third Party Risk Analyst to support efficient, proportionate and insight-driven third party risk activity. In this role, you’ll gather, organise and assess supplier information, identify meaningful risk signals, and support clear, timely escalations that enable good decisions. You’ll work closely with consultants, senior managers and stakeholders across teams, using structured data, dashboards and workflow tools to improve assessment quality, reporting and process efficiency.
This role sits within Third Party Risk and supports the Society by helping deliver accurate, timely and practical analysis across supplier risk processes. The team works closely with colleagues across procurement, legal, supplier management and the wider business to gather evidence, assess risk and support proportionate decisions that protect the Society while enabling pace. In this role, you’ll use data, dashboards and workflow tools to support evidence gathering, preliminary risk analysis, reporting and process improvement. You’ll also help build and maintain reporting, automation and apps using tools such as Power BI, Power Automate and Power Apps, improving data capture, workflow efficiency and the scalability of third party risk activity. Through this, you’ll help identify emerging issues through clear evidence-based insight and consistent application of policy and controls.
At Nationwide, we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK-wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected.
For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at our Swindon office. If you are aligned to our Glasgow hub (as this is your nearest location), there will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events. This is anticipated to be weekly in Glasgow. If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here.
Nationwide is committed to the redeployment of our employees impacted by change, as such applications for redeployment candidates will be prioritised in this recruitment process.
If you’re a colleague on long-term absence (for example, on parental leave) or a temporary worker, please use your personal email address to submit an application.

- Working knowledge of third-party risk processes and controls, including due diligence activity, risk tiers or core due-diligence domains such as cyber, privacy, financial or resilience
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working across teams to coordinate actions, ask clarifying questions early and maintain progress across a varied workload
