As part of Nationwide’s Procurement transformation, we are looking for a highly capable and ambitious Procurement Management Information (MI) & Insights Manager to play a critical role in delivering data-driven insights that empower our Procurement team. This role will focus on generating accurate, relevant, and actionable MI and insights, leveraging the Nationwide Data Lake and advanced analytics tools to support decision-making, manage risk, and drive process improvements.
You will work closely with the Senior Manager to execute the strategic roadmap for procurement analytics, while developing your leadership and strategic thinking skills. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events in one of our office sites. This is anticipated to be twice per month in either Swindon, Glasgow or London.

ResponsibilitiesYou will own the delivery of procurement MI and insights, ensuring outputs are timely, accurate, and aligned with business needs. Using the Nationwide Data Lake and BI tools, you will produce dashboards, reports, and analytics that enable informed decision-making. By utilising your analytical skills, you will also support the development of advanced analytics techniques, including predictive modelling and AI-driven insights, while monitoring emerging trends to bring innovation to the team. You’ll also own and implement data governance frameworks that ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Additionally, you’ll be collaborating with stakeholders and will be key to translating requirements into actionable insights, alongside contributing to knowledge management and leading key initiatives.
About youFor this role, you will have:
- Advanced Technical Power BI capability - able to design, build and optimise insight ready dashboards, complex data models and reporting solutions that drive insight and decision-making.
- Ownership of strategic deliverables - proven experience leading reporting or analytics work streams from concept to delivery that inform senior decision‑making.
- Procurement lifecycle reporting knowledge - understanding of how data flows across Sourcing, Contracting, Payment and Risk, and how to build reporting that drives value and efficiency across each stage.
- Senior stakeholder engagement - comfortable influencing, challenging and shaping decisions at senior levels with clarity and confidence.
- Data governance fundamentals - understanding the principles of data quality, lineage, ownership, and compliance, ensuring reporting is built on trusted, well-managed data.
- Proficiency in modern data platforms and visualisation tools, alongside strong analytical and problem‑solving techniques.
- Strong organisational skills - ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outputs under pressure.
- Ambition and capability to progress into senior leadership, supported by a proactive approach to learning and development.
- Awareness of emerging technologies, particularly AI, and their application within analytics.
- Experience with Databricks, Collibra or Coupa.
