You will play a key part in supporting the delivery of operational plans, ensuring that time, cost, and quality considerations are met in line with the Branch & Workplace Development delivery framework.

You will be working to support the Nationwide Group branches through a period of major change that will lead to the rebrand of Virgin Money stores, help to facilitate branches to be ready for the launch of our future business banking proposition, and continue to enable customers with access to cash solutions beyond the branch network. We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best. The working hours (per week) for this role can be between 21 and 35 hours. This is a 12-month Fixed Term Contract. At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible.

More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected. For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events in one of our office sites. This is anticipated to be once a month in either Swindon or London.

If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. If we receive a high volume of relevant applications, we may close the advert earlier than the advertised date, so please apply as soon as you can.

Working closely with a Network Planning Manager and key stakeholders, you will contribute to strategic analysis and the development of business cases, as well as the prioritisation of schedules to achieve programme outcomes.

This work may include delivering as‑is analysis, benefits case assessments, high and low‑level requirements, and non‑functional requirements such as roadmaps and detailed delivery plans. Alongside this, you will provide planning consultancy throughout the lifecycle of allocated projects, ensuring timely updates on all assigned work packages, sharing lessons learned, and offering feedback when required. You will also play an active role in supporting the continuous improvement of the Network Planning team.
