The role blends hands-on projects with learning to develop technical Treasury skills and commercial awareness. Responsibilities
- Participate in multi-placement rotations across Data & Analytics, Balance Sheet Risk & Reporting, Strategy & Sustainability, and Markets/Investments to build end-to-end Treasury expertise
- Deliver live projects, create dashboards, improve reporting, and automate processes using data-driven insights
- Contribute to governance, regulatory reporting, liquidity management, and risk analysis to support financial strength
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate analytics into actionable decisions
- Develop wider commercial perspective through exposure to investor relations, credit ratings, and front-office activities
Key requirements
- Motivation to study finance qualifications
- Strong numerical and communication skills

- Two A Levels and three GCSEs including Maths and English
- Commercial awareness of Nationwide and the Financial Services industry
