End User Services is accountable for the delivery and support of the organisations end user computing estate, including laptops, physical and virtual desktops, operating systems and applications. As a Release (Evergreen) Analyst within the End User Services (Release & Protect team), you will play a key role in ensuring end user devices remain secure, compliant and fully supported across a large-scale estate of over 25,000 Windows and macOS devices. This is a hands-on technical role within a highly analytical team, responsible for driving the delivery of operating system, threat and vulnerability assessment, application and security updates. You will be involved in the full release lifecycle, from initial assessment and testing through to deployment and post-release support.

Responsibilities:
- You will quickly build an understanding of the environment, proactively identify and resolve issues and take ownership of troubleshooting across endpoints to ensure successful and stable releases.
- Working closely with engineering teams, you will support and enhance update and patching capabilities, including monthly OS and M365 patch cycles, while leading on vulnerability remediation and device compliance.
- The role also involves collaborating with business stakeholders to plan releases, gather requirements and resolve issues impacting end user devices.
- You will work with modern management and security platforms including Intune, Entra, Defender, Qualys and Nexthink to analyse data, manage deployments and improve overall service performance.
About you:
- Experience using Microsoft Intune and M365 to manage and support endpoint environments.
- Advanced use of Excel (e.g. pivot tables, lookups, data analysis) to interpret and manipulate large data sets.
- Proven ability in technical troubleshooting and root cause analysis across Windows endpoints.
- Experience working with Microsoft Defender and endpoint security tooling.
- Knowledge of Threat & Vulnerability Management, including assessing, prioritising and remediating risks.
- Familiarity with vulnerability intelligence such as CISA KEV (Known Exploited Vulnerabilities) and applying this to patching strategy.
- Experience using Nexthink (or equivalent) for device health monitoring, analytics and troubleshooting.
