We are looking for a proactive, high-performing, engineering quality manager to join our Property FM team. This role will help us to ensure site governance is followed, and that high MEP compliance and quality standards are maintained within our administration premises, via our supply partnerships.
As a high-performing Engineering Quality Manager, you’ll work closely with the Nationwide FM team and their FM supply partners, using your technical knowledge and experience to help ensure the application of engineering standards and best practices, that support organisational compliance, resilience and operational continuity. Your contribution will assist the management of FM partnership performance expectations and good customer outcomes, meeting our strategic and regulatory expectations.

Responsibilities
What you will be doing
A typical day within this job role would involve the quality assessment and assurance of FM partnership delivered proactive and reactive maintenance duties, including their compliance records. You’ll work closely with your fellow Nationwide FM team members and specialist maintenance supply partners, and will help with MEP projects assurance, including the review and assurance of project plans and delivery outcomes. Within the first 6 months of your employment, you will be supported to become technically familiarised with our admin centre estate. You will report to, and be supported by Nationwide’s FM technical lead, the senior facilities manager (Data Centres).
About you
You will have:
- Experience in a building services management related role for a corporate client premises, including critical environment management (data centre, hospital, trading floor, aviation, or similar), including QMS ownership and live-site risk management
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of M&E critical systems (UPS, generators, switchgear, CRAC/CRAH, chillers, CTS/ATS/STSs, BMS/DCIM). Strong grasp of UK regulations listed above; familiarity with ISO 9001/ 55001/ 27001 /22301/ 50001
- Governance design, audit, technical writing (MOP/SOP/EOP), KPI design, data analysis, supplier assurance, facilitation
- Excellent stakeholder management
- Electrical or mechanical qualification of BTEC/City and Guilds Level 3, or equivalent
