An exciting opportunity has arisen within Customer Service & Operations for an Economic Crime Governance Insights & Analytics Specialist to join the Shared Services Reporting & Governance team. This role plays a critical part in protecting both the business and its customers, operating as a key component of the first line of defence against financial crime. You will be responsible for supporting the identification, ownership and management of financial crime risks on a day-to-day basis, while delivering meaningful insights and analytics that enable informed decision making across Compliance, Risk and wider business functions. This is a high-impact role offering the chance to work with senior stakeholders, providing valuable governance, performance and risk intelligence to help strengthen control environments and drive continuous improvement.

ResponsibilitiesYou will be responsible for developing and delivering consistent, accurate and timely Management Information (MI) to support reporting for managers and senior leaders, ensuring key issues are clearly identified and escalated where appropriate. The role involves monitoring core Economic Crime metrics, providing early warning indicators of adverse trends, control weaknesses and emerging risks, while establishing and maintaining effective reporting cycles to support robust risk oversight. You will also play a key part in enhancing and sharing financial crime knowledge and technical expertise across the team, contributing to overall capability development. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will support team and departmental objectives and contribute to initiatives that strengthen first-line control oversight. In addition, you will support the production of monthly governance reporting across Economic Crime, delivering clear and actionable insights to inform executive and senior leadership decision making.
About youFor this role, you will have:
- Experience with analytical tools or languages such as SAS or SQL
- Knowledge and/or experience of economic crime risk and financial crime frameworks
- Experience working with large and complex datasets, with the ability to extract meaningful insights
- Strong knowledge of advanced Microsoft Excel techniques, including PivotTables and lookup formulas
- Proficiency in MI production and data visualisation, delivering clear and impactful outputs
- A proven track record of producing concise, insight-led reports and presenting data to engage and influence senior stakeholders
