Working closely with data governance specialists and engineering teams, you’ll troubleshoot issues, implement improvements, and ensure our data quality and compliance standards are met. This is a hands-on technical role where you’ll contribute to building a robust data governance ecosystem that supports the Society in building trust in its data.
We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best. At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected. For this job, you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part-time, you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon or London office.
If your application is successful, your hiring manager will provide further details on how this works. You can also find out more about our approach to hybrid working here. You’ll collaborate with colleagues to resolve technical issues, deploy updates, and configure integrations that keep our data governance tools aligned with business needs. You’ll also work on improving automation and efficiency within the platform, making sure our data quality and governance standards are consistently met. Expect a mix of problem-solving, system maintenance, and working with stakeholders to deliver high-quality data solutions.
About youAs a minimum, you will have:
- Experience in managing and maintaining applications and tools in hybrid environments (cloud and on premises)
- Experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft Azure, including deployment and configuration of services
- The ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across applications and integration platforms
- Experience implementing automation and integration using APIs or scripting
- Experience with security and monitoring practices, including integration with tools such as Dynatrace for performance monitoring and CyberArk for privileged access management
- The ability to work collaboratively with technical and business teams to deliver solutions
