We are seeking a Performance & Operations Consultant; you’ll play a key role in our Procurement & Strategy Team ensuring that our procurement systems and processes are fit-for-purpose. From supporting with user access and data management to offering guidance to the operational teams with issues and incidents. We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best. At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected. For this job you will spend at least two days per week, or if part time you will spend 40% of your working time, based at either our London, Swindon or Glasgow office.

What you’ll be doing

  • You will troubleshoot and resolve more complex issues relating to system performance and user queries, with full support from more experienced team members, and conduct regular system reconciliations to ensure data integrity and compliance.
  • You will support system user access management, specifically the provision of access to Coupa (our Source to Pay platform).
  • Your role will include supporting Coupa Release Management, particularly the regression testing processes, and assisting with incident management and resolution across Procurement, as well as maintaining and updating system configurations to accommodate new features and updates.
  • Over time, you will build up to execute minor changes across procurement systems and processes to aid operational excellence, with full guidance and support from experienced team members.

About you

  • Have a keen eye for detail and be confident working with numbers and large amounts of data.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with the ability to build strong working relationships across the business.
  • Excellent planning, organisational and time management skills with great attention to detail.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment supporting your colleagues.
  • Experience of working within an administrative role with proven Microsoft Office skills.
  • Flexible and adaptable to support and embrace change as the department continues to evolve.
