We are leading our thinking on building a strategic joined-up view of the enterprise risks facing the Society. At Nationwide we offer hybrid working wherever possible. More rewarding relationships are supported through our hybrid approach, bringing colleagues together across our UK wide estate, whilst also supporting generous access to home working. We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected. For this job you’ll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you’ll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon, Bournemouth or London offices.
A typical day will include working with the team to maintain, develop and promote the use of MetricStream. This could include anything from:

- Championing the system across the business, and ensuring readiness to adopt changes and functionality
- Delivering training and building awareness of the system and its capabilities
- Overseeing interactions / data flows with upstream and downstream systems and applications
- Managing a small team of system focused risk analysts and managing day to day supplier interactions
- Leading the MetricStream Platform Change Forum and representing MetricStream viewpoints in other risk areas (e.g. Risk Practitioners Working Group)
Of course, as a manager of a small team, we’ll also need you to help motivate and inspire your team members.
