An Associate Director is responsible for supporting Directors across Business Banking to deliver exceptional support to our customers. You will support Directors to write annual renewals and new business applications. You will also support risk oversight of the portfolio and general servicing needs of our customers. This role will see you work within the London and South Strategic Finance team where our passion to deliver outstanding customer experience is at the heart of everything we do.

This role is within the London and South Strategic Finance team, responsible for delivering outstanding customer experiences for our Commercial, Leverage and Corporate clients and will support Directors to deliver a variety of lending, deposit, treasury and other customer needs to ensure our business community can thrive in their ambitions.

Responsibilities:
- You will be a key member of the Strategic Finance team primarily accountable for assisting in generating and optimising Income and Return on Equity, focused on our business customers and prospects.
- You will assist Director’s oversight of existing and new customers. This will involve face-to-face customer meetings and preparation of detailed credit applications including analysis of financial models.
- We’ll need you to work collaboratively with the Directors to manage and monitor the portfolio, ensuring compliance on all credit, operations, loan administration and other risk matters.
About you:
We are looking for people who want to develop their career within Business Banking. As a minimum requirement, you’ll have:
- A passion for, and experience of, supporting larger businesses and delivering outstanding customer service within a Business Banking environment.
- Strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skills (including Excel financial modelling skills) with an ability to understand and interpret finance statements.
- Strong organisational, relationship and project management skills to deliver excellent levels of customer service and outstanding attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Business Banking processes and systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of risk and compliance requirements in line with the role.
