This is a newly created role in the Brand, Marketing & Corporate Affairs Team, responsible for the creation and delivery of major and highly creative integrated marketing campaigns, reporting to the Brand Campaigns, Social & Content Senior Manager.
You will be responsible for the oversight of campaigns, overseeing and maximising agency resource and delivery across multiple communication teams. This is a highly collaborative role, requiring leadership, with creativity and connections at its heart. The role will be solely focused on the delivery and co-ordination of our integrated marketing campaigns, bringing narratives to life by combining multiple disciplines. You will work closely with teams to ensure plans are fully integrated, delivering our brand and commercial objectives at every turn.
You will be a highly organised, proactive, dynamic and motivated individual, with exceptional communication and influencing skills. You will have a passion and thirst for marketing, with experience in reaching new audiences by being highly creative. You will raise the bar and keep our brand campaigns, activations and content fresh by being up to date with developments and new thinking, while also being hands on with the management of campaign budgets, and risk management.

What you’ll be doing
- Responsible for the oversight of campaigns, overseeing and maximising agency resource and delivery across multiple communications teams.
- Create detailed campaign delivery plans, together with advertising, PR, retail, social, content and our creative and media agencies.
- Prepare regular updates on campaign plans for senior members of Nationwide, both within and outside CB&E.
- Overseeing talent agreements and partnerships, across campaigns, working closely with our PR and Social Teams, managing the associated risk and budgets.
- Spotting opportunities daily to drive our campaign activations, with bold ideas of your own to lead the campaigns agenda.
- Understand brand and marketing strategy, building strong working relationships with our colleagues in the team to turn strategy into action.
About you
- The minimum requirements for this role are:
- Significant experience in the delivery of high-impact marketing campaigns and action plans to help deliver desired business outcomes or can demonstrate the essential skills required.
- Significant practical experience, such as marketing, social, public relations, journalism and marketing.
- Experience liaising with a number of individuals including Directors, Senior Managers as well as third party suppliers such as creative agencies.
- Demonstrable success in creating and leading campaigns that drive brand outcomes and alter perceptions.
- Prepared to work under pressure and at speed to meet challenging deadlines while achieving results of the highest standard.
- Experience blending new and existing ways of communicating, with advanced consumer campaign and engagement skills, including PR, marketing, social, content creation and internal communications.
