In this role, you will be responsible for the technical designs and infrastructure set-up of automation projects. You will be responsible for technical design, delivery of design documents, and helping development teams with end-to-end design queries.

We value our time in the office to solve problems, to learn, and to feel connected. For this job you'll be located at our nearest regional hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events in one of our office sites. This is anticipated to be up to 4 times a month in either Swindon or London.

What you’ll be doing:

  • You will need to understand business requirements, oversee technical designs and ensure the appropriate technology and tools are used to automate business processes.
  • You will be expected to oversee multiple projects/workstreams at a time, working closely with engineers, data analysts, business analysts and test managers to track projects on a day-to-day basis.
  • You will need to ensure you have the right resources within your team to deliver technical solutions at speed and high standards.

About you:

  • Experience in creating end-to-end technical designs.
  • Experience in cloud technologies (AWS/Azure), MS Power Platform or/and Pega Platform.
  • Experience in reviewing technical designs and ensuring guard rails are followed as expected.
  • Experience leading other designers and junior engineers in the team.
