As a Deposits Pricing Manager, you'll play a key role in shaping the pricing and performance of millions of savings and current accounts. You'll uncover the story behind the numbers, exploring not only how money moves but also the market forces and customer behaviours that influence it. You'll use your analysis to make recommendations that ensure Nationwide is set up for success and to best meet the needs of its customers.

For this job you'll spend at least two days per week, or if part time you'll spend 40% of your working time, based at either our Swindon or London office. What you'll be doing:
- Draw on a blend of internal and external insights to build a deep understanding of performance and translate your findings into clear, meaningful narratives for key stakeholders.
- Develop strong relationships across the business, working collaboratively to support the successful delivery of product and Society strategies and helping ensure alignment at every level.
- Using your commercial awareness, numerical strengths and analytical skills, lead the creation of well-rounded pricing proposals and operational forecasts, while also supporting product teams as they shape new propositions.
- The insight you provide will directly influence decision-making and play a vital role in protecting the profitability and long-term sustainability of one of our most important business areas.
About you:
- Experience interpreting, manipulating and simplifying large datasets into clear, digestible visuals, with confidence using complex Excel formulae.
- The ability to bring analysis to life through effective storytelling for a wide range of stakeholders, including Ex-Co.
- Strong PC skills, including intermediate Excel, PowerPoint and MS Suite, along with the technical aptitude to build spreadsheets, create formulas and maintain analytics or reporting tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate clearly in both written and verbal form, using a logical approach and keen attention to detail.
- Experience leading and coordinating analytical work from the initial brief through to final recommendations.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced market, manage competing priorities and stay up to date with market trends and competitor activity.
- Experience with analytic tools such as Power BI or QlikSense.
