We have an exciting opportunity within our Business Banking Operations Team for a Change Analyst to join us. As a Change Analyst you will be responsible for identifying and driving new improvement opportunities and changes to existing processes across the Business Banking Operations team in line with our operational excellence principles. You'll need to focus on delivering change with tangible and measurable benefits whilst ensuring our risk management framework remains effective to mitigate any risks and keep us safe.

We are happy to consider flexible working approaches to help you perform at your best. For this job you'll be located at our Glasgow or Edinburgh hub. There will be a need to regularly connect with colleagues for collaboration events, this is anticipated to be weekly in Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Responsibilities

Our Change Analyst will be responsible for supporting the leadership team to solve business issues through analysis, enabling us to improve performance and support achievement of commercial objectives. Within this role, you’ll complete data analysis and data cleansing activities to ensure business processes are operating as expected whilst identifying and escalating any issues with systems and processes and sharing this with stakeholders to ensure they are kept appropriately informed.

You’ll be responsible for the coordination and tracking of all change and improvement delivery across Business Banking Operations alongside collaborating with stakeholders to drive opportunities to improve our internal processes and procedures. By overseeing change management, you’ll ensure all changes are delivered appropriately, ensuring no detrimental impact to our customers or colleague experiences.

Additionally, you will regularly engage with colleagues across Business Banking Operations to understand challenges and improvement opportunities before collating and sharing these with the leadership team to drive improvements. You’ll also represent business banking operations at key forums, manage stakeholder expectations, and ensure suitable MI (Management Information) is prepared for these critical sessions.

About you

As a minimum requirement, you’ll have:

  • Experience creating and interpreting MI
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Experience of working to a high level of detail and at pace to meet agreed deadlines ensuring change is implemented effectively for customers and colleagues
  • Knowledge of Business Banking policies and procedures
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey messages and ideas to stakeholders
  • The ability to learn quickly, work as part of a team and turn ideas into practical solutions
