• Business Risk Managers in our Business Assurance & Risk Governance Team
• Based in our Northampton Administration Centre
• £41,535- £55,380– depending on current salary and banding
• These are permanent, full time positions

As a Business Risk Manager within Business Assurance & Risk Governance, you’ll help us to improve our position by supporting the business to identify, manage, monitor and mitigate risks, so that our customers can enjoy the superior service and experience they expect from us.
Who we're looking for
As a minimum requirement, you'll:
• Need a good knowledge of governance issues, operational risk and conduct risk concepts and methodologies, the ability to spot problems and provide insight and support to the business areas
• Be a confident communicator with excellent influencing skills and the ability to appropriately challenge at all levels. Problem solving and a flexible approach are essential and you will be a resilient individual who is calm under pressure
• It is important for you to be based in Northampton to support our Collections and Recoveries team, but we do require flexibility to work across different sites within the division and build effective relationship networks across the organisation to ensure that Customer Service & Operations’ risk management approach is best in class
• Have a Risk and / or Governance background in the financial services industry
• Hold or be willing to study for the International Certificate in Risk Management
What you'll be doing
As part of the Customer Service & Operations division, you’ll ensure we provide outstanding service to our customers. You will support and challenge the operation to identify key risks and mitigating actions through an effective Risk & Control Self Assessment (RCSA) process, analysis of trends, review of controls, understanding change impacts and third party exposures. You will develop and embed a risk culture to ensure that you empower the operation to drive the risk agenda and view risk as a source of competitive advantage by protecting our customers and strengthening our Brand. You will also support the division to identify systemic issues and deliver improvements to divisional frameworks, through the management of controls initiatives.
