Social Care Qualified – 37.00 hours per week – Salary £37.14 – Immediate Start – 2 days remote, 3 days in the office (dates to be discussed with line manager).

Role Overview

Act as a senior member of the Compliance and Enforcement Team providing maternity cover. Support delivery of effective compliance and enforcement service covering all types of unauthorised developments under the Planning Acts and ensure development is carried out in accordance with approved plans. Manage complex compliance and enforcement investigations into reported breaches of planning control and related appeal work arising from enforcement action.

Responsibilities

  • Lead investigations into breaches of planning control.
  • Handle enforcement action and related appeals.
  • Collaborate with planning officers and other stakeholders to ensure compliance.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior team members.
  • Maintain accurate records and produce case reports.

Qualifications

  • Experience and expertise in town planning and planning enforcement.
  • Strong communication, negotiation and organisational skills.
  • Highly motivated and well-organised.
  • Team-player with the ability to contribute to overall team objectives.
