Monmouthshire County Council has a duty to manage its trees to meet its legal obligations as a responsible landowner. This post is situated with the Waste and Street Services Department. And the role’s primary function is to meet those duties as they pertain to the work and responsibilities of the department in line with the Council’s Tree Policy.

The post holder’s predominant activity will be tree surgery and felling operations to a high standard in line with all relevant policies and procedures inclusive of climbing, pruning, dismantling, reduction of trees and all associated tasks inclusive of ariel rescue.
