Overview

ROMILDAMOR Foundation is a Human Rights NGO that works to support Survivors of Human Trafficking and Gender Based Violence with Legal and Holistic support to help them reintegrate safely back into society. Our mission is to show Love in Action by Transforming Exploited Survivors into Empowered Women.

Role Description

The Legal Support department provides Survivors of Human Trafficking and GBV with assistance in sourcing external Legal Representatives. We work closely with lawyers to prepare clients case files, draft witness statements, gather key evidence and keep on top the case progress.

Supervisory Lawyers will meet with Legal Assistants on a weekly basis and provide them with guidance and advice as they source representation and assist clients in preparing their Housing cases.

Role Duration

Start Date: As soon as possible

Duration: Initially 12 months, with the possibility of extension upon review.

About You

Qualified Solicitor with over 2 years PQE Experience working in UK Housing Law Management & Legal Advisory Experience

The volunteer will be required to attend weekly clinic appointments on Wednesdays at 6pm – remotely.
