Visitor Experience Event & Projects Co-ordinator

Fixed Term – 12 months

Hours: 37 per week (5 days a week (with a willingness to work evenings & weekends to meet the needs of the business)

Salary: £28,241.48 per annum

Location: Hot desks across all BMT sites / Hybrid

These roles will support the Visitor Experience Events and Projects Manager (‘VEEM’) on uniting all of the ancillary activities, events and projects that underpin ‘added value’ for the Visitor Experience across the organisation. You will work collaboratively with the stakeholders involved in programming to create and deliver a wide range of events that meet the needs of our core audiences and align to our business strategy.

These roles will work collaboratively to gain support from colleagues across the organisation to ensure each event we host is a success. You will work with colleagues to understand the scope of what can and cannot be delivered and use your expertise to continually challenge teams to deliver more. You will lead on event delivery and as such must be prepared to work evenings and weekends.

Success in these roles will be measured in a variety of ways including event engagement, visitor satisfaction and visitor numbers. Your role will have a direct impact on a number of financial KPI’s on which you will be measured alongside other colleagues and your line manager (for example: paid event income / profit).

To succeed in these roles, we are looking for the following skills and experience:

Experience of planning & creating events
Experience of understanding meeting audience needs
Examples of delivering great visitor experience
Good event management / delivery experience
Understands safeguarding of children and vulnerable adults.
