Permanent / Full Time
Hours: 37 per week (Monday – Friday with a willingness to work evenings & weekends to meet the needs of the business)
Salary: £36,000 per annum
Location: Hot Desks across Birmingham Museum Sites / Hybrid

In this role, you’ll be the go-to person for all things venue hire leading on client relationships, coordinating with event organisers, and helping us deliver unforgettable experiences across our stunning portfolio of venues. From weddings at Aston Hall to corporate events at the Museum & Art Gallery, no two days are the same.

What you’ll be doing:

Responding to venue hire enquiries and managing the full sales pipeline
Hosting site visits and creating bespoke event proposals
Managing client relationships from initial enquiry through to post-event wrap-up
Preparing contracts and working closely with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery
Supporting the Head of Enterprise with sales strategies and helping us hit (or smash!) revenue targets
Championing the unique spaces and stories behind our venues
Managing a high performing sales team of 3 sales coordinators

What we’re looking for:

We’re after someone who’s confident, organised, and great with people. You should also bring:

Experience in a venue hire sales role or similar event sales environment
A proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Previous experience managing events end-to-end
A strong track record of hitting sales targets
Bonus points if you’re familiar with Birmingham Museums Trust venues
