We are currently recruiting for one Collection Movement Technician (Art Handling) to support the delivery of Tate programme and make sure that standards are maintained for object packing, handling, movement, documentation, storage and display. The role will be based at Tate Britain.
You will be focusing on the handling, movement and storage of artworks at Tate Britain. You will participate in the care of artworks and support Tateβs programme of exhibitions, displays, loans, acquisitions as well as other collections-based activities as necessary.
Your expertise will play a key part in liaising with colleagues in the Collection Care and Curatorial teams across the site and will establish the priorities to deliver the day-to day programme of activities. The successful candidate will have previous experience of handling works of art and the ability to work well as part of a team.
