We are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker to join our team at Essential Care and Support Limited – based in Sunderland. Essential Care and Support is a part of the National Care Group and is a dedicated specialist in providing person centred care across our supported living, outreach and day services. We support some incredible individuals with a range of support needs including Mental Health, Physical Disabilities, Learning disabilities and substance misuse. The Senior Support Worker Role:

As a Senior Support Worker your role will be to assist in the senior management to assess peoples support needs and work with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service. The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be Kind, friendly and honest.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Supporting adults with learning disabilities.
  • Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
  • Able to motivate and manage a team.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
