We are currently recruiting for a Senior Care Assistant to join our team at Essential Care and Support Limited – Abbeyvale Care Centre, based in Hartlepool. Abbeyvale Care Centre is a warm and caring residential service designed to suit the needs of people with various diagnoses, including physical disabilities, symptoms of old age, dementia diagnosis, and mental health needs.

The Senior Care Assistant Role
As a Senior Care Assistant, your role will be to assist senior management in assessing support needs and working with people we support to initiate and develop new ideas and methods regarding the quality of service. The most important qualities needed are the ability to treat others with respect, listen to their needs and understand their emotions. Be kind, friendly and honest.
The Ideal Candidate
- Supporting adults with learning disabilities.
- Have a minimum of a Level 3 NVQ/QCF in Health and Social Care or working towards this.
- Able to motivate and manage a team.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
