Are you an experienced Registered Manager looking for a change? The National Neurological Services are currently recruiting for a Registered Manager for our Residential Service in Albert Road, Levenshulme. Albert Road is a service developed for individuals with Acquired Brain Injury or a neurological condition. Our progression model offers transitional residential living in a well‑equipped setting. It is a specialist service in which we provide slow‑stream rehabilitation and both short and long‑term residential care for males and females over the age of 18. Through our partnership working, we ensure the personalised care we provide, in every case, fully meets a person’s needs. We empower people to achieve their maximum potential in terms of independence and quality of life.

Registered Manager Position:

We are looking for a new Registered Manager to lead our Service Managers and Wider team in our Levenshulme service. Service details: 7 rooms with ensuite across 4 floors, each floor accessible by lift. Two satellite kitchens, a games room, and a quiet room for memory and attention exercises. As part of your induction to National Care Group you will be supported by the Regional Operations Manager and Director to settle into your new team, together with a close network of professionals to support you on your journey and help mentor you into your new role.

About the role:

  • As leader, ensure health and wellbeing of individuals and colleagues, unlock potential.
  • Quality and governance; use tools to deliver outstanding quality across services, legal statutory regulatory; process driven, passion for continuous improvement.
  • Be present to coach & mentor colleagues on what good looks like, leading from the front.
  • Strong oversight: balance operations with leave, meetings, training compliance.
  • Develop relationships with families, external professionals and regulators; collaborative working.
  • Support transition of new people into services from assessment to achieving full potential.
  • Importance of documentation; empower teams to deliver excellent written communications and support plans.
  • Reporting essential; training provided to deliver right information to maximise quality and compliance.
  • Must be registered with CQC.

About you:

  • Experience working with learning disabilities, mental health or complex behaviours across multiple sites.
  • Established Registered Manager looking for a new challenge.
  • Keen eye for detail; passion for quality and governance.
  • Level 4 or 5 in Health & Social Care achieved or can be supported.
  • Strong leadership values.
  • Excellent communicator with ability to influence at different levels.
  • Excellent time management; work on own initiative; continuous improvement.
  • Enjoy an ever‑changing environment.
  • Available to lead from the front; flexible to covering shifts or on‑call rota.
  • Driving licence and vehicle to travel within services required.
  • Relentless in providing person‑centred care to unlock potential of all those you serve.
