Service: Nexus Support Limited – Chelmsford.

£300 Joining Bonus. A full UK driver’s licence is required for this role.

About the role: Your day will be spent supporting people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs aged 16‑45 to live meaningful lives. You will assist with activities such as swimming, exercising, health & beauty, and any preferred community or home-based activities. When you are not out and about, you will be on hand for chats and advice to help when times become challenging.

Responsibilities:

  • Build positive relationships with people by listening, discussing, and planning goals and ambitions together.
  • Help to plan and carry out daily tasks and practical activities such as cooking, cleaning, and running errands.
  • Assist with personal care, including eating support and medication administration.
  • Plan and participate in enjoyable days out.
  • Support people to become more independent wherever possible.
