Salary: Up to £51,500 (experience dependent) & £3,000 car allowance.

Location: Home based, initially within Dorset, may travel to Devon, Somerset and Wilshire. Ideal candidate based in or around the Somerset/North Dorset area.

About the role

Responsible for leading a team of Registered Managers across residential and supported living services. Work with the Regional Operations Director to ensure financial and operational performance, promote best practice, maintain quality standards and ensure compliance with company, regulatory and CQC requirements. Build relationships with local commissioners and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver person‑centred support and maintain quality standards.
  • Oversee financial performance and budgeting for the region.
  • Co-operate with the Regional Operations Director to promote best practice.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local commissioners and external agencies including CQC.
  • Coach and develop the team of Registered Managers.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and regulatory standards.
  • Make strategic decisions, implement and manage service strategies.
  • Provide flexible and autonomous management of workload and meetings.

Qualifications and experience

  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
  • Proven experience managing budgets, commercial, quality and people KPIs.
  • Experience in health and social care, supporting living, learning disability, mental health and complex care services.
  • Strong leadership, collaboration and organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of CQC regulations and legislative compliance.
  • Excellent IT and analytical skills.
  • Valid driver’s licence.
