Main purpose of the role

To carry out deliveries of our products to our customers, representing the company in a professional and cost-effective manner. Working within GDP guidelines and ensuring customer satisfaction by acting as a company ambassador.

Core role accountabilities:

  • To deliver NVS products.
  • To sort your daily orders ready for loading and delivery in drop order.
  • Carry out vehicle inspections before leaving the depot to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy.
  • Deliver your load in a timely manner to pre-determined customers on specific routes.
  • To deliver controlled drugs, fridge items and ambient goods within the correct temperature ranges to ensure the company remains GDP compliant.
  • Report back any customer or delivery issues in a timely manner.

Health & Safety

  • Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times including wearing of any PPE supplied.
  • Promote Health & Safety awareness throughout the depot environment.
  • Be aware of relevant Risk Assessments and Fire Assessments.
  • To drive in a considerate and responsible manner as you are representing NVS.
