As the Regional Sales Manager for the Northwest, you will have responsibility for the development of Electrical Wholesaler accounts including sales of both over the counter products and ventilation projects. Your region will cover the following postcodes: LL, CH,CW, SK, WA, M, OL, BL, WN, PR, BB, LA, CA, SY, TF, ST, DE.

You will identify new business and growth opportunities to develop your region to achieve and exceed your agreed budget.

You will visit electrical wholesalers and building sites to agree project requirements.

Experience within the electrical wholesale industry, or similar technical/manufacturing industry, would be desirable. Ongoing technical training will be provided including building regulations and site information to ensure you are equipped with the knowledge to succeed in your role.

As a Regional Sales Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage, maintain, and develop your existing customer account and increase revenue via new accounts within the Electrical Wholesale sector.

  • Develop relationships within your customer base at the right level.

  • Grow OTC sales by actively pushing and gaining promotional orders.

  • Increase project sales by engaging with customers and contractors and promoting the NV service

  • Monitor personal performance and take necessary actions to achieve sales targets.

  • Attend and support customers during marketing events such as trade days or breakfast mornings.

  • Understand the needs to continually increase business knowledge and learn new skills through a combination of training and personal development.

  • Proven sales, business development and account management experience.

  • 1 – 3 years’ field sales experience preferred with willingness to learn and develop.

  • Technical & product skills: Proven working knowledge HVAC experience is an advantage

  • Expected activities: Business development (70%), market development and communications (30%)

  • Territory management

  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills.

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced environment and adapts and plans to meet changing circumstances.

  • Manual driver’s License., * Field Sales: 2 years (preferred)

  • Manual driving Licence (preferred)
