Duties And Responsibilities Include
- Drive efficiency from all compound operations
- Implement new efficiency improvements as required
- Ensure all KPI's are met
- Ensure the timely and accurate completion of all damage paperwork as per customer requirement
- Ensure handling standards for all units are maintained
- Ensure quality and inspection standards for all units are maintained
- Ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the required standard
- Maintain and adhere to ISO management system and processes and develop where appropriate
- Ensure compliance standards for drivers and transporters are maintained
- Observe company policies and procedures and lead by example
- Manage/supervise staff on the port & compound to achieve stated objectives
- Communicate effectively with staff and ensure good working relations
- Resolve performance issues expediently
- Report reoccurring performance issues to the Site manager
- Be available to cover shift requirements as required
