Duties And Responsibilities
- Drive efficiency in all compound operations
- Implement new efficiency improvements as required
- Ensure all KPIs are met
- Ensuring timely and accurate completion of all damage paperwork as per customer requirement
- Maintain handling, quality and inspection standards for all units
- Carry out work safely, efficiently and to required standard
- Maintain and adhere to ISO management system and processes, and develop where appropriate
- Ensure compliance standards for drivers and transporters are maintained
- Observe company policies and procedures and lead by example
- Manage and supervise staff on the port and compound to achieve stated objectives
- Communicate effectively with staff and ensure good working relations
- Resolve performance issues expediently
- Report recurring performance issues to the Site manager
- Be available to cover shift requirements as required
