The Inventory Assistant supports efficient inventory management across medicines, consumables, and medical equipment, ensuring accurate records, regulatory compliance, and proper storage conditions. The role involves receiving, checking, storing and dispatching stock to multiple clinics while reporting to the Procurement Manager and assisting procurement services. We value patient‑centred care and expect the post holder to uphold these principles throughout their work.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory records for medicines, consumables, and medical equipment using ERP systems.
  • Apply FIFO/FEFO principles to stock rotation.
  • Support periodic, cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Monitor stock levels and raise reorder requests as needed.
  • Compile reports on inventory discrepancies.
