Team Teach Certified Teaching Assistant Needed - Full Time at a Brent Based Primary School, Monday - Friday.
Reeson Education is working with a well-respected and inclusive primary school in Brent that is looking to recruit a Team Teach Certified Teaching Assistant to join their team ASAP. This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone with an interest in supporting children's learning and development, and a commitment to helping every child thrive in a nurturing and ambitious school community.
Key Responsibilities of this role:
- Support pupils individually and in small groups, helping them to access learning across the curriculum.
- Run your own nurture group with SEN children, working 1:1 with one child on a daily basis.
- De-escalate situations, calming children down and reducing anxiety leading to behaviour problems.
- Provide targeted support for children with a range of needs.
- Work collaboratively with teachers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Support the school's values around anti-racism, equity and community engagement.
The Ideal Candidate for this Team Teach Certified Teaching Assistant vacancy:
- Must remain positive, resilient and have a caring approach to working with children; a certification in Team Teach is essential.
