Working within a bustling atmosphere as part of a passionate team, you’ll report to the Welcome managers. Based in 3 locations within the park, you’ll play a great part in providing fantastic customers service and providing a warm and friendly welcome to our visitors here at Lyme.

The team play a big part in growing support for the National Trust and fundraising for Lyme, this can be by promoting National Trust membership, donating on property or inspiring volunteering.

What you’ll be doing

Day to day, you’ll deliver a great all-round customer service experience. You’ll be on hand answering queries and listen to what our visitors need so you can share the right information. Your role is to make sure our visitors have the best day they can.

You’ll have the chance to be involved in different aspects of the visitor experience, from key property events to social media promotion – no two days are the same.

Great visitor experiences are in our nature, and we believe everyone should feel welcomed, appreciated and more engaged because of the excellent service you provide.

Salary: £11.64 per hour

Contract duration: Fixed term contract until 28th February 2026

Hours/working pattern: This role is based on annualised hours, where the amount of hours you work each month may vary, however your salary will be paid in 12 equal instalments over the year. You’ll work 534 hours over the duration of the contract and weekday, weekend and bank holiday working will be required.
