We're looking for a Facilities Co-ordinator with the skills to keep Calke Abbey, Staunton Harold Church and Staunton & Foremark Reservoir sites in tiptop condition and running smoothly for all the people who visit and love the place.
You’ll be reporting to the Facilities and Support Services Manager, working in a team of 4, at Calke Abbey. Calke Abbey is a unique property with peeling paintwork and overgrown courtyards, it tells the story of the dramatic decline of a country house estate. The house and stables are little restored, with many abandoned areas vividly portraying a period in the 20th century when numerous country houses did not survive to tell their story. We also work in partnership with Severn Trent to look after the reservoir sites at Staunton Harold and Foremark.
As the Facilities Co-ordinator, you’ll be making sure that Calke Abbey, Foremark and Staunton Harold operates as it should, by running an efficient, effective and flexible facilities service. You’ll help the property team to meet their goals by keeping standards high. You’ll be helping ensure that across the properties, a wide range of compliance activities are actioned as well as leading the co-ordination of maintenance and repairs (reactive, as well as planned and preventative).
