As the HR System and Administration Manager your role is to oversee the HR information systems and ensure the smooth operation of HR admin functions. A role that is crucial for maintaining accurate employee data, supporting HR processes, and ensuring the necessary compliance. You will bridge the gap between HR strategy and technology, ensuring that HR processes are efficient and effective. You will work alongside the HR team to ensure the processes we apply are aligned with the business goals and you will have line management responsibility for two HR Administrators.
Reporting to the Group Chief People Officer you will be an approachable and supportive individual with a talent for establishing relationships at all levels and delivering an exceptional service to the business. You will work with a wide variety of departments across the Company in a busy and fast-paced environment.
The HR office is in Northallerton but there is some flexibility around hybrid working, with an expectation that you will be on site at least three days per week. Location: Northallerton / Hybrid. Salary: up to £45k.
Key responsibilities for this role:
- HRIS Management: Implementing, maintaining, and developing the HRIS, including managing permissions, access, and system settings. Managing key processes.
- Data Management: Ensuring the accuracy and integrity of employee data within the HRIS.
- Process Improvement: Identifying and implementing process improvements related to HR systems and administration.
- Technical Support: Providing technical support and troubleshooting for HRIS users.
- Compliance: Ensuring HR administration function is compliant with HR policies, procedures, and relevant legislation.
- Reporting: Generating reports and presenting HR data to support decision-making and proving key business insight for business review.
- Administrative Support: Overseeing HR administrative functions such as onboarding, offboarding, and employee record maintenance.
- Line Management: Daily management of the HR administrators to ensure they follow agreed process and deliver accurate work within agreed SLA’s.
We are looking for someone with solid HR and systems experience, that works well as part of a team and is always looking to improve ways of working. You will be able to demonstrate:
- HRIS Expertise: Strong knowledge of HR Information Systems and their functionalities. Ability to configure and implement any HR systems changes and functionality.
- Administrative Skills: Excellent administrative and organisational skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using HR software and other relevant technologies.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Problem-solving: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to HR systems and processes.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and generate reports.
