Our Biological Services team plays a vital role in research areas such as cancer, gene therapy and infectious diseases.
About the role
This is a hands on, physically demanding and mentally challenging role where you'll provide daily, high quality animal husbandry, support breeding programmes and help ensure the smooth running of our facilities.
You'll work closely with colleagues, communicate clearly, manage your time effectively, and uphold high welfare and safety standards.
Some out of hours and weekend work will be required.
The role offers excellent opportunities for career progression and the chance to apply and develop a wide range of transferable skills, including teamwork, organisation, communication and problem solving.

About you
You genuinely care about animals and ideally have experience in animal husbandry.
You're reliable, detail focused, a strong team player, and confident using IT systems and recording data accurately.
Flexibility, good communication and a proactive approach are essential to thriving in this challenging environment.
