Specialist Care Team Leader 42 Weeks per Year | 40 Hours per Week Be the leader who helps young people with complex disabilities achieve extraordinary outcomes. You'll be responsible for: Leading shifts and supervising colleagues. Supporting and developing team members, including new starters. Promoting high standards of care, dignity and wellbeing. Working closely with therapists, tutors and healthcare professionals. Supporting students in residential, educational and community settings. Administering medication and ensuring care plans are followed. Supporting learning, independence, communication and life skills. Organising activities, social opportunities and community experiences. Essential requirements External applicants Minimum of 2 years' experience in care/support services. Experience supporting people with disabilities, complex needs or within a residential setting. Experience leading, supervising or coordinating colleagues. Level 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or equivalent). Internal applicants Must currently be an Advanced Facilitator or Specialist Facilitator. Must hold a minimum Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care. Must have attended, or be booked onto, Lead Facilitator or Aspiring Management training. Willingness to work towards and achieve a Level 3 qualification if not already held. Working Pattern Early shifts from 7:00am Late shifts until 10:00pm Every other weekend A flexible approach is essential to meet the needs of our students and services. Ready to lead with purpose?
