Could you be a successful member of the National Star Retail Team? Our charity shops across Gloucestershire and Hereford are vital in supporting National Star’s aim to transform the lives of young people with disabilities.

We are looking for an enthusiastic charity shop Deputy Manager with strong retail experience to support the ongoing running of our charity shop in Cirencester (4 days per week) and a Deputy Manager who is able to provide support to all our stores on a floating basis to cover for absences and peaks in workloads (3-4 days per week).

Ideally you will be flexible on which days you can work, including some weekends, to be able to fully support the manager and the team staffing levels. Working closely with the retail manager, you will use your creativity, communication and customer service skills to generate quality donated stock.

It’s likely that you will understand merchandising, presenting clothing, homeware and books in a way that will encourage maximum sales. It also goes without saying that you will be confident in supporting the recruitment, training and management of a team of diverse volunteers. Previous background in charity retail or fashion retail is strongly preferred.
