As a Lead Care and Support Worker, you will:
- Support students with their daily living and personal care needs.
- Encourage independence and help students develop life skills such as cooking, laundry, budgeting, and community participation.
- Enable students to pursue hobbies, interests, and personal aspirations.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Care and Support Workers.
- Work collaboratively to ensure high-quality, person-centred care and support.
- Contribute to creating a positive, active, and engaging residential environment.
We're looking for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and leading others to do the same.
You will have:
- At least two years' experience in a care setting.
- Experience supporting people with learning and/or physical disabilities.
- A Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
- Strong communication and leadership skills.The ability to motivate others and champion best practice.
Internal applicants should currently be working as a Specialist or Advanced Facilitator and hold a Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care.
