About the Role

Our Ullenwood campus located at the top of Leckhampton Hill, in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire, is looking for a Senior / Lead Care and Support Worker to support the management team of a specific residential area.
Responsibilities
- Support the management team of a specific residential area and work closely with senior staff.
- Lead a team of care workers, working together to provide a high standard of individualized care and promote residents' personal independence.
- Plan, organise and deliver care plans, including practical life-skills such as cooking and laundry.
- Provide personalized care to students, who have a range of physical and learning disabilities, and help them pursue hobbies and enjoy a busy, active life.
- Take part in a comprehensive induction into our way of working and then act on your own initiative.
Qualifications & Experience
- At least two years' care experience, supporting residents with learning and/or physical disabilities.
- Level 3 qualification in health or social care (or equivalent).
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Working Hours & Schedule
Shift work is required: early shifts starting at 7am and late shifts ending at 10pm or 11pm, with alternating weekend working. Posts are available both term time and all year (term time is 42 weeks per year). The lead role requires flexibility to meet residents' needs.
