National Star is looking for an enthusiastic and efficient Catering Assistant to join our team providing a full catering service to our students based in Ullenwood, Cheltenham.
Transport / Parking
We have a staff minibus that runs from central Cheltenham and central Gloucester, or plenty of parking on site if you prefer to drive.
Job Details
This is an all-year-round post comprising 8 hours per week, to be worked on a Sunday from 10:30 am – 6:30 pm. You may be asked to work additional hours or different shifts according to the needs of our students.
Responsibilities
- Prepare food.
- Serve food.
- Keep the equipment and work areas clean.
- Assist the chef with the smooth running of the area.
- Cash handling.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a catering or kitchen assistant role (ideally in residential care or a school environment) is required. A Basic Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable. This vacancy may close early if we find the ideal applicant, so please apply early.
