What is the purpose of the Senior Fundraiser? The role of the Senior Fundraiser is to project manage a number of fundraising initiatives across mass participation audiences. The role will be responsible for managing ‘DIY' fundraising activity – supporting fundraisers who choose to organise their own fundraising event, which could range from anything from a bake sale at work to running an ultra-marathon. With hundreds of DIY supporters choosing to fundraise for the NSPCC each year, this is an exciting opportunity to shape the DIY fundraising programme, to review and streamline the user experience across supporters fundraising at home, in the workplace or at school. The Senior Fundraiser will also project manage the schools fundraising product, working closely with the Schools Fundraising Manager to deliver a product out to market, managing all aspects of its lifecycle from planning, delivery, evaluation and innovation. This role plays a key part in generating income to support the NSPCC's mission.
You’ll contribute by:
- Maximising recruitment of new and existing supporters into the organisation
- Delivering an exceptional supporter experience to drive fundraising income, and inspiring long-term engagement and retention
- Using data-led insights to improve campaign performance across key metrics such as remittance rate and average donation
What skills do I need to be a Senior Fundraiser? Skills we are looking for are:
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience delivering campaigns or events to mass audiences
- Strong communication skills to deliver activity updates and facilitate relationship building with a wide range of stakeholders
- Ability to analyse data and use insights to inform decision making
