Home based, with very occasional travel across the North East & North Yorkshire! Overview: We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Team Leading Tutor to join our client’s team. This is a home-based role with remote delivery, though occasional travel to the client’s Leicester site will be required for face-to-face training sessions. The successful candidate will manage their own diary and play a key role in supporting apprentices throughout their learning journey. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct initial inductions for learners enrolling in the apprenticeship programme. * Deliver high-quality training, coaching, and assessment for Team Leading (Level 3) apprenticeships. * Support learners in developing their Functional Skills in Maths and English to the required competency level. * Ensure learners are fully prepared for End Point Assessment (EPA) within agreed timeframes. * Work towards specific quality and completion targets to maintain high standards of delivery. * Collaborate with a specialist tutor responsible for delivering structured off-the-job training, including theory-based workshops, role-play exercises, and guest speaker sessions. * Maintain accurate records of learner progress, ensuring an organised and structured approach to training delivery. * Stay updated with industry developments, undertaking relevant training and CPD activities as required. * Attend all company CPD events to enhance professional expertise and ensure compliance with the latest educational standards. Requirements: * Assessor qualification (A1, TAQA, CAVA, or D32/D33). * Ideally hold a recognised teaching qualification (PTLLS or equivalent) or be willing to work towards one. * Functional Skills Level 2 or equivalent in Maths and English. * Strong vocational competence in Team Leading and Management. * Experience in coaching and assessing apprentices in Team Leading (Level 3) and Management (Level 5). * Knowledge and experience in delivering and testing Functional Skills in Maths and English. * Familiarity with e-portfolio systems such as Smart Assessor.
