The Role:
Our client is currently looking for a passionate and qualified Nail & Beauty Tutor to deliver City & Guilds qualifications as part of their study programmes. In this role, you will teach the Introduction to Nail & Beauty Sector course, supporting young learners to gain practical skills and industry knowledge. As the Nail & Beauty Tutor you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor learner progress, and ensure high-quality teaching and assessment that leads to strong achievement rates.
Nail & Beauty Tutor - Key Responsibilities:
- Lesson Planning
- Develop effective schemes of work that support individual learning needs
- Create engaging lesson plans and group learning activities
- Deliver inclusive teaching through effective differentiation
- Deliver curriculum-based training to individuals and groups
- Set clear objectives and targets for learner achievement
- Provide one-to-one support where required
- Encourage, guide, and support learners to achieve their goals
- Manage behaviour effectively within the learning environment
- Mark work, maintain records, and ensure learners are assessment-ready
- Track attendance, progress, and learner development
- Follow the education inspection framework and company quality standards
- Maintain accurate learner records using CRM and ePortfolio systems
- Participate in monthly caseload reviews and standardisation meetings
- Undertake Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
- Embed safeguarding, Prevent, and learner wellbeing into all delivery
- Work closely with the Quality team to maintain high standards
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure learners progress to positive outcomes
- Build relationships with external organisations supporting learners
- Attend team meetings and share feedback to improve delivery
Essential Requirements:
- Level 3 or above in Beauty Therapy
- PTLLS/CTLLS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
- GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above or equivalent)
Desirable:
- DTLLS / Cert Ed / PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification)
