The Role:

Our client is currently looking for a passionate and qualified Nail & Beauty Tutor to deliver City & Guilds qualifications as part of their study programmes. In this role, you will teach the Introduction to Nail & Beauty Sector course, supporting young learners to gain practical skills and industry knowledge. As the Nail & Beauty Tutor you will plan and deliver engaging lessons, monitor learner progress, and ensure high-quality teaching and assessment that leads to strong achievement rates.

Nail & Beauty Tutor - Key Responsibilities:

  • Lesson Planning
  • Develop effective schemes of work that support individual learning needs
  • Create engaging lesson plans and group learning activities
  • Deliver inclusive teaching through effective differentiation
  • Teaching & Learner Support
    • Deliver curriculum-based training to individuals and groups
    • Set clear objectives and targets for learner achievement
    • Provide one-to-one support where required
    • Encourage, guide, and support learners to achieve their goals
    • Manage behaviour effectively within the learning environment
    • Mark work, maintain records, and ensure learners are assessment-ready
    • Track attendance, progress, and learner development
  • Monitoring & Quality Improvement
    • Follow the education inspection framework and company quality standards
    • Maintain accurate learner records using CRM and ePortfolio systems
    • Participate in monthly caseload reviews and standardisation meetings
    • Undertake Continuous Professional Development (CPD)
    • Embed safeguarding, Prevent, and learner wellbeing into all delivery
    • Work closely with the Quality team to maintain high standards
  • Team Collaboration
    • Work closely with colleagues to ensure learners progress to positive outcomes
    • Build relationships with external organisations supporting learners
    • Attend team meetings and share feedback to improve delivery

    Essential Requirements:

    • Level 3 or above in Beauty Therapy
    • PTLLS/CTLLS (or equivalent teaching qualification)
    • GCSE English and Maths (Grade 4/C or above or equivalent)

    Desirable:

    • DTLLS / Cert Ed / PGCE (or equivalent teaching qualification)
