Business Development Executive (BDE) Location: Orpington Basic Salary: £29,500 + Commission OTE: £45,000 About the Role We are currently recruiting for a Business Development Executive (BDE) on behalf of a fantastic client operating within the apprenticeship and construction sectors. This is an exciting opportunity for a driven, ambitious and commercially minded individual to join a growing business, playing a key role in driving new business opportunities and developing relationships with prospective clients. Key Responsibilities * Proactively identify and generate new business opportunities. * Build and develop relationships with prospective clients across the apprenticeship and construction sectors. * Make outbound calls and conduct business development outreach to potential customers. * Arrange and attend meetings with prospective clients to understand their requirements. * Promote the company's services and identify opportunities to secure new partnerships. * Manage the sales pipeline and consistently work towards agreed targets. * Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to maximise opportunities for further business. The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience in a BDE, BDM or sales-focused role would be advantageous. * Confident communicating with prospective clients over the phone and face-to-face. * A proactive, motivated and target-driven approach. * Strong relationship-building and communication skills. * Commercially minded with a genuine desire to succeed. * Experience within apprenticeships, education, recruitment or construction would be beneficial, but is not essential
