Our client requires a Senior Quality & Regulation Manager to ensure full regulatory compliance, particularly with SIA requirements. The role ensures all approved Security and Protective Services Centres meet our client’s standards, supports new centres through approval, and drives continuous improvement through quality assurance, oversight, and training.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and support the Security and Protective Services team and Centre network.
- Lead centre and qualification approval processes.
- Conduct and report on complex malpractice/maladministration investigations and implement preventative actions.
- Provide regulatory information to senior leaders for investigations and complaints.
- Oversee Centre visit scheduling and observe EQAs to ensure consistent practice.
- Drive team development, efficiency, and high performance.
- Represent our client at regulatory meetings.
- Provide regular reports on internal and external QA matters to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Oversee External Quality Assurers (Security), including recruitment, training, and standardisation.
- Lead training and support programmes for approved and prospective centres.
- Identify and develop resources for security programmes.
- Maintain a tutor database in line with SIA requirements.
- Oversee SIA-related returns, action plans, and reporting.
- Monitor Centre risk levels and recommend mitigation actions.
- Update QA and compliance policies and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with SIA endorsement contract requirements.
- Coordinate review of Go-React recordings to support quality monitoring.
- Contribute to organisational self-assessment and improvement planning.
- Develop and implement an annual audit process for approved centres.
- Review and update internal and external QA processes.
- Attend external regulator meetings across the UK.
- Carry out additional duties as required, supporting flexible and effective operations.

- Ensure full compliance with health and safety legislation.
- Safeguard and correctly use all equipment provided by our client.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation, procedures, and sector developments.
- Participate in appraisals and undertake relevant professional development.
