Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Work-Based Training Advisor to support apprentices on Level 3 4 engineering and manufacturing programmes (electrical/electronic bias). The role focuses on high-quality assessment, training delivery and learner support, ensuring apprentices gain the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver workplace assessments and knowledge-based training in line with apprenticeship standards.
  • Provide coaching, progress reviews and constructive feedback.
  • Develop and monitor individual learning plans and support apprentices preparing for EPA.
  • Build strong employer relationships and ensure workplaces are suitable for training.
  • Maintain compliant learner records and contribute to internal quality assurance.
  • Ensure safeguarding, health and safety and data protection standards are upheld.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Assessor qualification (TAQA, CAVA, A1, D32/D33) essential.
  • Level 3+ engineering/manufacturing qualifications essential.
  • Teaching qualification desirable.
  • Experience in assessing or training within engineering or manufacturing.
  • Strong industry background; power generation experience desirable.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and caseload management skills.
