The predicted salary is between 23000 - 31000 £ per year.

To deliver Adult Education vocational programmes in line with customer requirements, quality standards and agreed targets. The role focuses on managing a caseload of learners and ensuring they experience a high-quality learning programme that supports achievement, progression and sustained outcomes. This includes using a range of effective learning methods, coaching and mentoring approaches to deliver consistently good or better outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage and maintain an agreed caseload of learners, completing regular interventions and reviews.
  • Ensure evidence for learning, achievement, funding and inspection requirements is captured accurately and on time, including learner retention, progression to employment or further training, and robust Individual Learning Plans aligned to initial assessments (including Maths and English where required).
  • Engage learners and key stakeholders, clearly defining responsibilities and working collaboratively to provide effective support and opportunities.
  • Plan and deliver assessment activities, ensuring learners are prepared and supported throughout the process.
  • Inspire and motivate learners, identifying and addressing barriers to learning and achievement.
  • Deliver Maths, English and Digital Skills where applicable to support learner progress.
  • Provide timely, accurate and individualised feedback to support development.
  • Work closely with IQAs to support quality improvement, best practice and sampling requirements.
  • Maintain positive stakeholder relationships to support learner progression and generate new opportunities.
  • Produce accurate reports aligned to KPIs and contribute to the development of high-quality learning materials.
  • Demonstrate the values of our client through positive behaviours and attitudes.

Management & Leadership

  • Act as a role model, demonstrating positive leadership behaviours to learners where appropriate.

Financial Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely learner starts and achievements, with appropriate evidence in place to support funding claims.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Essential:

  • Relevant vocational sector experience and qualifications above the level of delivery, or current CPD.
  • Functional Skills Level 2 (or equivalent) in English, Maths and ICT.
  • Strong communication and coaching skills.
  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise workload effectively.

Desirable:

  • Coaching qualification.
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE).
  • Assessor qualifications (TAQA, AVA, A1, D32/33).
  • Knowledge of government-funded training and supporting learners into sustainable employment.
